As an employee here in UAE and been here for past 3 years, i tried the typical way of taking a Tourist visa and searched for my engineering jobs. I took many guidance and went days of research to get interviews, and ultimately to a job. Here am listing some of my tips it can add up on your research.
Basics
- Make sure to take 3 month visit visa.
- Be patient, it will take 2-3 weeks to get a response from recruiters.
- Degree certificates to be attested from UAE Embassy in respective home country & UAE to be done while getting the job.

UAE’s engineering sector is so diversified from Construction to Oil & Gas. With the exception of Dubai, most of the UAE is dependent on oil revenues.

Keep all Legal Attested Engineering Certificates
When relocating to UAE, you need to prove to officials that documents are legal and genuine. Make sure to complete the procedure from Ministry or Department of Foreign Affairs in your country first. Rest of the procedure can be done after getting the offer letter from UAE with out much hassle.
